Egypt/ Net International Reserves September 2020 reading
Overall reserves up for the second month in a row on a simultaneous increase in both headline and non-official figures: Egypt’s overall reserves (NIR + non-official reserves) grew by almost USD2bn by end of September 2020. The country’s NIR increased slightly by USD59mn, while non-official figures grew by USD1.89bn by end of September 2020. Overall reserves stood at USD43.3bn, covering 8.2 months of merchandise imports.
