Alexandria Containers and goods [ALCN]
The Financial Regulatory Authority announced that Black Caspian Logistics Holding’s (BCL) (100% owned by Abu Dhabi Ports Group) intends to submit a mandatory (potential non-binding) tender offer to acquire the remaining 90% of the share capital of Alexandria Containers and goods Company, with a minimum of 51% of the target company’s share capital or voting rights, with the aim of gaining control of the company, at an initial purchase price proposed by the offeror of EGP 22.99/share. Black Caspian Logistics Holding’s current stake in Alexandria Containers and goods Company is 19.33%, representing 575,901,360 shares. This stake was acquired on November 20, 2025, at a price of EGP 22.99 per share, and it was previously held by the Saudi Egyptian Investment Company, This offer reflects Abu Dhabi Ports Group’s desire to expand in the ports and logistics sector in Egypt, especially the trade corridor between Asia, the Mediterranean and Europe.
