RMDA: Acquisitions Pave the Way for Rameda’s Regional Expansion
Rameda has announced plans to establish a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia in partnership with LVP Pharma, marking another step forward in the company’s regional expansion strategy and strengthening its presence in one of the largest pharmaceutical markets in the Middle East.
The announcement follows a series of changes in Rameda’s shareholder structure. On June 8, 2026, LVP Pharma increased its stake in the company to 31% after acquiring Equinox Pharma Holding Limited’s 8% stake, raising its ownership from 23% to 31%. In addition, Saudi Seventh Investment Company holds a 10.9% stake in Rameda, highlighting the growing Saudi strategic interest in the company and reinforcing its long-term expansion ambitions.
The planned manufacturing facility represents one of the first tangible outcomes of these strategic partnerships. The project is expected to strengthen Rameda’s footprint in the Saudi market, capitalize on the opportunities created by Saudi Vision 2030 to localize pharmaceutical manufacturing, and serve as a platform for expanding into the broader GCC market.
