Egypt plans to increase crude oil imports by 40% to reduce the fuel bill
The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation reportedly plans to increase the country's crude oil imports by 40% starting from the next fiscal year 2024/2025 to halt the import of refined petroleum products. Sources also added that import volumes will be increased by a rate of two million barrels per month starting from July 2024, reaching 7 million barrels. (Asharq Business)
